I got a turn at the desktop computer, and scanned my artwork. Does this say "You are a great catch!", or what?? I think he's adorable. What do you think Melissa S. Fish Kiss Freebie

Ok so I was reading the comments from my last post (thanks to all of you that left me a comment by the way, I really enjoyed reading them!!). And someone asked for a Valentine Fish, and I tried to think of what that might look like. This is one of the ideas I came up with. I have several different fish in my sketchbook. I just need to get a free moment with the desktop computer where my scanner is hooked up. I have at least 2 more that I want to try to digitize. To be perfectly honest with you, I think this one comes across a little stale. The others have a bit more character to them, if I do say so myself. But if you disagree then by all means, download (click the image and save the larger version), comment, create, and enjoy :) I hope to post again before the day is out, but if I don't then I will tomorrow for sure!! This post is for the birds!!

Literally :) I was opening windows this morning (actual windows, not the operating system lol) to let in the fresh, cool, morning air. A little sprinkling of rain won't keep me from airing out my house, stink be gone! Anyhoo, I get to my daughters room and open the blinds and there before me is a menagerie of birds surrounding the bird feeder we have hanging in the tree (and which my dear husband filled the day before). I stood there utterly fascinated by them. All the different varieties, the bickering, all of it was completely relaxing and interesting. I get the same sensation when confronted with a fish tank, I can't take my eyes away. I decided I needed to try to capture the flighty creatures on film.....or digitally as the case may be. I just clicked at random, hoping for something interesting. I have to say I got some dynamic shots! They turned out pretty well for having shot them through glass. Instead of using my usual "safe" auto setting I tried AV and I have to say, I like the results I got. I hope everyone is having a fabulous day! Thanks for stopping by :).

New, Free, Penguin and Fish Digi Stamp Files

I created these files recently and finally got around to making them digi. I am not sure about my penguin design, but I will post it and let you decide. I've gotten mixed reviews on it.
